Tuesdays Seem To Be Worse Part One


Shooting up in shock I looked around, then wished I hadnt rose so fast as I felt a sudden rush of dizzyness overcome me.

I slumpted back down to where I came from my head, man it felt horrible!

Slowly this time I opened my eyes and sat up taking in the things around me.

The room was Pink and Cream, and there were many pictures on the wall squinting to look at then I realised they were pictures of the gang and thats when I noticed I was in Amy's living room.

The scent of flowers flared through my nostrils as I pulled the blanket that hugged me off and went to stand up...

I screamed in pain as i put weight on my legs and collapsed onto the floor.

Hoping no-one had heard me, which was pretty doubtful at the volume I screamed, I hauled myself back onto the sofa pain still throbing in my left leg.

Amy ran in worried covering her face.

"SONIC!!! Are you ok?" She screamed, she was wearing the same red dress as always, I always thought that she could wear something much nicer.

But anyway I just smiled and told her I was fine, but she wasnt buying it.

So then she came over to me and sat down beside me, holding her hand to my head checking its temperature then she stood up and forced me back down on the sofa.

"Right you dont seem to have a temperature or anything, but what did you screamed about before?" She asked, she looked so scared I couldnt help looking away from her as I told her about the pain in my leg.

"Im ringing Tails now, you stay there" She ordered and with that she marched out of the room.

I lay back against the fluffy pink pillows trying to relax although the pain was still there around my knee.

About an hour later I had eaten some of Amy's amazing cooking and Tails was round looking all concerned.

I didnt honestly see what the big deal was, I always got aches and pains everynow and then after a battle with Eggman though i must admit this hurt abit more...hell it hurt alot more.

"Sonic I think youve pulled your hamstring and its going to take awhile to heal, your going to have to take things abit slow" he told me

WHAT!! I screamed in my head...Take things slow? Are you kidding me? Im the fastest thing alive how can you expect me to 'take things slow?'

It was only the start of the week but it was already going from bad to worse.

I just looked at them both trying not to make it obvious that i was practically devastated.

Eventually Tails left and Amy had given me some ice for my leg, she even bandaged it up place a huge pile of pillows under it to keep it elevated.

Everytime Amy came in the room I just kept saying thanks, I didnt know what else to say.

But anyway as the day went on I got extremly bored and wished i could be outside in the sun, my leg was feeling better I was sure i could manage it to the door.

So I stood up carefully placing my weight on my right leg and hobbled over to the back door, then Amy caught me.

"Sonic what are you doing you need to rest" She said rushing over to support me.

But i just gently pulled out of her grasp and told her that if I didnt go outside soon I would go crazy, so she came and sat outside with me.

It felt great to get the wind rushing through my quills, and to breathe the fresh air deeply.

I was wondering though on how I had come about getting so badly injure, this had never happened before.

"Amy, I dont understand how i got so badly hurt" I told her, "I dont even remember what happened"

Thats when Amy looked at me straight in the eye, she was giving me that look as if to say, "I dont want to talk about this" but i pushed her to tell me, and she did...eventually

"Ok Sonic, Ill tell you but i dont think you will like this" she started saying "We were falling really fast towards the ground, I honestly thought this was the end! Then Tails flew beneath us saving both our lives and we landed back on land again, and thats when you started to go funny."

She looked away from me, I already knew all this bit, I was there after all!

"So you helped me off the plane and then you looked really weird, like you wasnt registering anything that was being said to you. Tails had flew off again hoping to go catch Eggman off guard leaving me with you."

Tears had started to form in her eyes, I got really uncomfortable and could feel my cheeks burning slightly but my ears were pricked straight as if they were scared to miss abit.

"You collapsed Sonic, one minute you were standing and talking and being yourself...the next you were in a heap on the floor not moving."

That was when her gathered up tears fell down her furry pink face, I actually felt horrified nothing like that had ever happened to me in my whole life.

"I didnt know what to do Sonic, You were just there on the floor not doing anything...I panicked but I managed to get you here before any more harm could come to you...I just didnt know what to do"

She was crying uncontrolably, so I shifted over to her on my bum and told her not to worry, I mean I was fine, I was there with her right now, she never needed to worry.

But she just continued crying so i wiped her tears away and smiled when she looked at me.

Then dont ask me why but i lent in and kissed her!
